Step 1 Pre-task

1. Greeting

2. Play a game(Quick response)

If you see pictures, speak English items. If you see the words, spell out.

3. Fun time

Use different sentences to introduce your family.

Step 2 Revision

1. Let’s recall

T: Who’s that man? S: He’s Mike’s___.( uncle_)

S: Who’s _______?(she/ this women/this) S: She’s _________. (Yang Ling’s aunt)

S: Who_________? (are they) S: ____________. (They are Su Hai and Su Yang/ They’re twins)

Talk about twins in our class.

2. Rhyme time

Watch and answer: Who’s that little boy?

Look and say: Is he very tall? Who are his animal friends? What are their names?

Read after the tape, pay attention to the rhyme.

PK between boys and girls/ together

Step 3 Cartoon time

1. Look and say: What can Bobby see on the wall in Sam’s home?

2. Listen and answer: What are their names?

3. Think and answer: Why do they have the same name? Culture tip for students.

4. Watch and answer: What’s their relationship?

5. Read the story after the teacher.

6. Act the story out.
