Show a song with missing words.

Play the tape for the song and encourage the students to sing it. Fill in the blanks.

While-task procedure

1. Show some pictures of activities and ask the students to express it with “v+-ing”.

2. Ask the students to make sentences with ”I like/love/enjoy …”.

3. Teach the new words “indoor” and “outdoor”.

4. Play the record for the dialogue on P22. Learn the new words “model”, “piano” in identifying some activities with “v+-ing”.

Try to use “like/love/enjoy doing” to complete the sentences.

Identify the difference between “indoor” and “outdoor” activities by seeing pictures.

Pay attention to “I (don’t) like doing …” and “That’s my favourite indoor/outdoor activity”. To learn the new words and to review “like/love/enjoy doing” again
