Step1 Lead in.

T: Good morning , boys and girls.

Today we will learn the third period of unit6 In the kitchen.

In this unit, we will continue learn present progressive. So can you answer me, what are we doing now ?

Ss: We are having an English lesson.

T: Yes, let’s watch the cartoon,:.

T: What is the last girl doing?

Ss: She’s sleeping.

Step 2 Sound time

T: Yes, Shh…The girl is sleeping. Be quiet.

(teach: Be quiet!)

Let me introduce her to you. She is Lisa, she is 12 years old, she comes from India. She is having a dream. Now we are in her dream, look, who is coming?

PPT: Quick , the queen is coming, through our little town.

T: Look, Queen Elsa is coming with her sister Anna.

Let’s read this sentence.

T: Look at the queen, what is she wearing?

Teach: golden crown,

Quick, the queen is coming, wearing her golden crown.

【设计意图】在课一开始我创设了一位主人公Lisa,把她介绍给学生,她12岁,来自印度,接着通过歌曲引出她正在睡觉的情景,我们进入了她的梦境,在她的梦里,然后再进入sound time的学习。我利用学生熟知的冰雪女王艾莎来引出Sound time的内容,通过艾莎女王巡游的视频出示句子:Quick, the queen is coming, through our little town.学生们在情境中理解句型,浅显易懂,自然过渡到书本内容,让学生在不知不觉中掌握了字母组合qu的发音。
