【教学设计理念与思路】
在教学中,主要采用任务型教学。“任务型”课堂教学模式是将英语的教学目标整合到一个或多个具体的活动任务当中,使学生在使用英语完成任务的同时学习英语,培养学生的综合语言运用能力。本节课是六年级上册第五单元的第一课时,是一节语篇教学课。整堂课围绕signs展开教学,先由图片引入signs,然后通过图文结合的方式呈现并教授部分文本中出现的新词,之后进入课文教学,通过看动画,快速阅读和同桌问答等方式帮助学生理解课文,接着进行朗读训练,最后补充了一些标志并进行拓展练习。
【教学过程】
Step1 Lead in
1. Play a game (True or False)
Show some phrases or sentences . Let the students judge they are right or wrong. Say “yeah”and “no”
2. Show some pictures of different signs and ask: What are these? (Teach: sign)
3. Present the title: There are many different signs around us. Have you ever noticed them? Today we are going to learn Unit5 Signs.
Step2 Presentation
1. Present the sentences: What does the sign mean? It means…
2. Let the students Practice saying this sentence pattern.
3. Brainstorm: Where can we see signs? (Teach: restaurant, shopping centre)
Our friends also see some signs today. Let’s see what do they see ?
4. Watch and choose:
(1) How many signs do they see?
(2) What are they?
Watch the cartoon and find out the answers
Teach the new words: floor litter smoke
5.Learn the first part together.
Pay attention to the three questions:
