Step 1 Warm up

1. Greetings

2. Play a game:

朗读句子,符合行路安全的说yeah,yeah,yeah不符合的说no,no, no

Read the rules, if it is right. Please say “yeah,yeah, yeah”, if it is wrong, please say “no, no, no”

(最后一个是Red man, stop. Green man, go.)

T: This is the most important rule on the road. Who can read again?

Step 2 Sound time

1. Try to know something about stress.

S1: Red man, stop. Green man, go.

T: You read ….more loudly. Why?You can say in Chinese?

S1: 突出重点/…

T: In English, we call this “ Stress”. It has two functions.

1.体现句子的节奏感和韵律感。

  2.突出重点,使听者更容易理解。

So, we need to read some words more loudly.

2. Learn the rhyme

1) Listen to the rhyme and try to find out the stress.

(Learning tip: 在一般情况下,句子中比较重要的词要重读,如名词、动词、形容词和副词等。重读单词的发音听起来相对响亮而且清晰。)

Pay attention, we should read some words loudly and clearly in a sentence,such as nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs and so on.

Please listen to the tape carefully and tell us the stress.

学生听完后说一说他认为的重音。教师不给予评价,只是说Maybe.

2) Watch the cartoon and check the answers. T: Who is right?(表扬)

3)Read the rhyme together.

4 )Read in pairs.

5) Try to read some other sentences.
