Watch a cartoon and say something about the road safety.

Step 1 Warm up

Greetings

Class begins. Good morning boys and girls.Do you follow the rules today? Good children. Sit down, please.

2. Free talk

Boys and girls, that’s an instructive cartoon and it’s interesting too .What does it want to tell us?(Don’t run or play on the road.) From last lesson and our daily life, we’ve known some important traffic rules. That’s road ________.(板书,学生拼读safety). Today let’s go on talking about it.OK?

出示图片How to cross the road_______on the road?(学生填空)

To keep ______, we must...We mustn’t...(学生填空)

指名一人说,其他人补充。教师补充:We must fasten the seatbelt in the car. We must keep the road clean.

Step2 Sound time

1. Try to know something about stress.

T:The most important rule on the road is this. Look! Can you read?(三四人读)

Red man, stop. Green man, go.

T: Listen, we should read like this.(教师范读)I read ...more loudly. Why?(出示重读和含义)

S1: 突出重点/…

T: In English, we call this “ Stress”. It has two functions.

1.体现句子的节奏感和韵律感。

2.突出重点,使听者更容易理解。

So, you need to read some words in a sentence more loudly. Can you read now?

2. Learn the rhyme

1) Listen to the rhyme and try to find out the stress.(出示要求及提示)

2) Check the answers. 指名一人试读。揭示答案。

3)Read the rhyme.

Follow the tape; Read in one/two/three/ four. Read together;

6) Try to read some other sentences.

T: How to read them? Please try, you can discuss with your desmates. Check.
