四、教学重点、难点

  (1)能听懂会说 what happened to your head?听懂会说happen, bump, ride, thirsty, watermelon。对句型What happened to your head?的掌握以及在生活场景中的运用。

Step 1 Warming up(5)

1. Greetings. Now class begin. Good morning students.

2. Let’s play a game, ok?(Magic eyes) I will play four phrases. It’s very quickly. When you know them. You can read them out. Ok? Are you ready?(大屏幕播放四个词组played football .watched TV .cleaned room. fell over.快速播放,学生抢答。)I think you are very clever. Do you think so?

3.Now, this class we will go on to learn the past tense.(一般过去时)。Module 9 Unit 1 What happened to your head? Happened是一般过去时,用来描述过去发生的事情。Do you know?

Step 2 Learning tasks(2)

1.Ok .Let’s look at the learning tasks. Who can read as loudly as you can?

1.要学习的单词:happen, bump, thirsty,watermelon

要学习的词组:bike ride,fell off

2.学会用What happened to···?询问过去的行为和描述自己及他人遭遇的事故。

2.Do you know the learning tasks? I think you can finish the learning tasks. Yes?

Step 3 Learning process(15)

1.I take three monkeys to you. Please look at the screen and watch it carefully then answer my question. What happened to the three monkeys?

2.Who can answer my question?(They fell off their bed. They bumped their heads.)

3.Read after me: fell off

4. Distinguish fell off、fell over and fell on.

5.Play the pictures. The students choose the right phrase then make a sentence.(He fell over. He fell off his bike. She fell on the ball.)

6.The monkeys are very naughty. There is a naughty bear, too. Open your books ,turn to page fifty. Read part one by yourselves. Then answer my question : What happened to the bear?(He fell off the tree then bumped his head.)

7.Explain the new word of bump.

5.Now ,I will play the dialogue .Listen carefully. Then answer the questions: What happened to Sam? What happened to Daming?

(He fell off his bike. He bumped his head.)

6.Play the dialogue again. Then show some questions on the screen. Discuss the questions in your team. Write down your answers. Then answer the questions one team by one team. Team leaders read the questions ,others answer the questions. OK?

7.Show the answers on the screen. Teach the kownledges of the new words.
