听力分为两个环节，首先是概括地听，第二遍是仔细地听。此处的听力看似单一但是用处很大。首先，可以最快捷的检查同学们新词的掌握情况。第二，通过有目的的听，帮助同学们在大脑中构建出本课框架。第三，此环节顾忌到了部分后进生的学习。2. Read the dialogue.
