Introduction(题型介绍)
阅读表达为中考新题型，一篇文章，三个问答题。
考察综合阅读能力和总结概括能力。
三小题分值分别是1分，2分，3分。2016年苏州中考该题6分的平均得分不足2分。
“Teaching one to fish is better than giving him fish.”
Solution Methods（解题方法）
Read and get.(先阅题，后读文)
Search and find. (先速度，后推敲 )
Think and express.(先思考，后动笔)
Read and get.(先阅题，后读文)
First, read the three questions and know what we need to answer.
(注意疑问词，读懂问题问的是什么，然后开始阅读文章。)
Example:
1.How much did John spend in the flower shop that day?
2. Why did John change his mind and take a dozen of flowers home himself?
3. Do you want to say“Mum, I love you.”to your mother? Why or why not?
Search and find. (先速度，后推敲 )
Next,read through the article.
Underline some detailed, related or useful sentences.
Usually, we need to transform the sentences.
(扫读文章，边读边划线，与问题无关的地方求速度。划出与问题有关的地方，仔细推敲，得出有用的信息，再作答。)
Example:It was well worth twenty-five dollars that John paid to see the exciting moment. Then John paid for his dozen of roses and told the assistant to send them to his mother.
Think and express。(先思考，后动笔)
For the third question, we should first say Yes or No about some opinion, and then express reasons and show ideas.
(第三题为开放性试题，前一问为Yes or No ，后一问为原因。先思考肯定或否定作者的某一观点，再表达观点。)
Example:
3. Do you want to say “Mum, I love you.” to your mother? Why or why not?
Yes. Because ……
No. Because ……
