神舟五号载人飞船是“神舟”号系列飞船中的第五艘，是中国首次发射的载人航天飞行器。它于2003年10月15日9时在酒泉发射，将航天员杨利伟送入太空，标志着中国成为继前苏联（现称俄罗斯）和美国之后，第三个有能力自行将人送上太空的国家。搭载物品： 除了中国飞天第一人杨利伟外，“神舟”五号载人飞船返回舱内还搭载有一面具有特殊意义的中国国旗、来自祖国宝岛台湾的农作物种子等。“神舟”五号飞船是在无人飞船的基础上研制的中国第1艘载人飞船,乘有1名航天员---杨利伟。飞船在轨道运行了1天。
