V. Teaching procedures

Step1. (5mins) Reviews about to describe the traffic accident, and talk about the pictures in Section A 3a.

Step2. Lead-in (3mins)

In this part, I will talk with the students about how to ride safely to lead to 1a and learn some new words .

Step3. Listening 1a (4mins)

In this part, I will let the students to listen to 1a and then finish the 1b. And then to cultivate the students’ listening and speaking ability.

Step4. (6mins) Post-listening

In this part, let the students read 1a and find out the Adverbial Clauses of Condition, and the sentences about giving advice and the difficult points. To cultivate and train the students’ reading ability and autonomous learning ability.

Step5. (8mins) Finishing 2a

In this part, let the students to discuss in pairs the result of breaking the traffic rules with If.

Step6.(5mins) Finishing 2b

In this part, I will ask the students to match the two parts of sentences to make traffic rules. Then check the answers in class.

Step 7. (5mins) Do exercises about the Adverbial Clauses of Condition
