一、 Revision(4 minutes)

(一)Review

Ask students to say something about the advantages(好处)of cycling.Although cycling has so many advantages,we still should obey the traffic rules.If not,there will be more traffic accidents.

[设计说明:复习Section A有关自行车的优点,为本节课做铺垫。]

(二)Lead-in

Watch the flash which is about traffic accident,use CAI to present the flash,show the importance of obeying the traffic rules.Then ask students how to stay safe when riding a bike?Then show two sentences with new words:

1.When we are riding,we should wear a bicycle helmet.(头盔)

2.If we ride at night,we should have a light(灯)on the bicycle or wear light-colored(浅色的)clothes.

[设计说明:通过观看视频动画是学生懂得交通安全的重要性,让学生讨论骑自行车时应该如何保持安全,导入新单词,让学生在语境中学习新单词。利用视频极大的调动学生学习兴趣,使他们很快进入状态,轻松的导课。]

二、 Presentation(14 minutes)

(一)Let students listen to 1a,then ask students to fill in the blanks in 1b.

(二)Watch the flash of 1a,and answer the questions,then check the answers.

1.Where did the bicycle accident happen?

2.What was the reason?

3.What will Kangkang and Michael do next?

(三)Listen to 1a,and follow it,then work in pairs,act it out.

三、 Consolidation(5 minutes)

(一)Look at the pictures in 2a.Discuss the results of breaking the traffic rules with if clauses.
