V Teaching procedures

Step 1

Review:

Translate the phrases in Section A.

Review the advantages of riding bicycle.

Show a picture of a bike accident, let students retell the accident according to the pictures in 3a , Section A.

Step 2

Lead-in:

T: Many students in our school ride bicycles to school everyday, so “What should we do to avoid the accident to keep safe?” to lead into the new class.

Listen to 1a and complete the sentences in 1b and to learn what should we do to stay safe when riding bicycles.

check the answers together and learn.

listen again and answer 3 questions from the teacher. And then choose some students to answer them.
