一、Pre-reading (5mins)

1.Greeting.

2.Warm-up Say a chant 分小组带动作说儿歌

3.Leading in: Game: 以旧带新

【设计意图】复习动物单词,采用英语描述猜谜语的形式引出故事主人公 wolf。

While-reading (20mins)

1.T: Look,where is the wolf?Can he climb? Can it run? Is he happy?Who is coming? Is the sheep happy?

【设计意图】利用简笔画画出一个山洞,学生观察狼所在的地方,和学生探讨交流狼的状况及心情,模仿朗读“Help!”,注意朗读时的语气。同时带着问题观察图片,小羊说“Oh, it’s a wolf.”的心情,运用恰当的语气来说出小羊的语言。

2.T: The sheep is coming. What dose the wolf say?

【设计意图】引出 Pull me out! 板书、纠音,通过TPR帮助学生理解out . 学生两两练习。

3.T:Can the sheep help the wolf?

I will not eat you. You are a nice sheep.

T:If you are the wolf, what will you say?

【设计意图】学习 nice 板书,纠音,理解nice的含义,利用问题 Can the sheep help the wolf?引导学生理解狼有可能吃掉羊,引导学生进入故事角色,引发思考。狼用甜言蜜语哄骗羊,假设你是狼你会说什么,来发散学生英语思维。

拓展:You are beautiful. You are cool. We’re friends.. Pull me out, please.

4.The wolf is out. If the wolf is good, what will the wolf say?But what does the wolf say?

W: Ha! Ha!I’m out. Now I’ll eat you.

S: No, please! Help! Help!

【设计意图】图4,两两对话表演,体会狼的贪婪凶恶和羊的懦弱。情感渗透要学会知恩图报,预设学生回答Thank you, Mr. Sheep. You are a good sheep. We are friends.原文录音模仿朗读,教师学生示范读,男女生分角色读,体会角色情感。

渗透: Do you like the wolf? What do you think of the wolf? 拓展 bad,greedy

What do you think of the sheep? nice/kind/helpful

5.T: The sheep is very poor. Then the monkey is coming. Listen!

M: Hey! What happened?

S: I helped the wolf.

M: What does the wolf do?

S: But now he wants to eat me.

【设计意图】长句子难点突破,长句子分解读,学生用不同的语气体验读 poor angry,scared,点叫学生体验读,两两表演。

7.T: The monkey is very thin, but the wolf is strong. Can he help the sheep? Can the monkey eat the wolf? What does the monkey say?
