学生能够听懂和理解这个简单的故事,教给学生使用不同的阅读策略理解课文,能在老师的帮助下模仿语音语调,正确朗读故事和复述表演故事。

(一)、Class opening and review

1、Greeting and free talk

T: Hello! How are you? Nice to meet you.

I’m wearing a dress. What are you wearing? ……

I like your shirt. Is it new? ……

2、Review week with cards

3、Sing a song: He is wearing red trousers.

设计意图:本歌曲既能调节课堂气氛,激活学生的英语思维,又能复习本单元所课学过的衣服和星期单词。

4、Introduce Betty and her closet. And then let the students guess: What clothes

are in her closet? . Open her closet and look at the clothes. Let the students look and read the words .

设计意图:通过猜测的方式复习服装的单词,为学习故事做以铺垫,从而引出课题。

(二)、New Concepts

1、Pre- reading

Let the students look at the picture 1 and think about the following questions:

?Where is Betty?

?What is she doing?

?What is Betty thinking about?

?What is Betty going to do?

?What will she wear to the party? Can you guess?

Teacher explains the sentence with the actions. (What will I wear?)
