1. 知识目标（knowledge objective）：
能够听懂，会说，会读音标[?]、 [ei]和例词cat ,bag, cap, hand; face, name, make,cake.

本节课的重点是启发学生通过仔细读单词，自己总结出元音字母Aa的发音规律，让学生获得成功感，进而提升自主学习的能力。
本节课的难点是能够读出符合a-e发音规则的单词并能区分出长音a-e与短音a的发音。
教具准备(Teaching aids)：
课件PPT、单词卡、字母磁贴和自制自然拼读台历等。
教学过程(Teaching procedures)：
Step1. Warming up
Greeting each other:--- Good morning, class! How are you today? Are you sad? --- No. Are you happy? ---Yes. Hope you happy everyday! Ok, let’s begin our new lesson---Letter Aa. At first, let’s sing a phonics song and please show me your hands and clap it with the rhythm.
设计意图：共唱a phonics song.用歌曲教学法,轻松的歌曲可以减缓学生课前的紧张情绪，营造和谐的英语学习氛围,拉进师生之间的距离;同时为新课教学做铺垫。
Step2. Revision
Review short “a” / ? /的发音
1.出示cat图，问What’s it? It’s a ___. Meow, meow, meow.
2.出示bag图，问What’s it? It’s a ___.示意学生one by one to say.奖励读的最好学生一朵花。You’re a super girl/boy.
3.出示cap厨师帽，问What’s this? It’s a ___. 大小声读。
4.出示hand卡片，伸出手，说show me your hand.小唱Open and shut them, open and shut them, give a little clap, clap, clap.
Look at these four words, what can you see? What do you find out the same point? ---Yes, there’s a small “a” in these words. And what does the small “a” sound like? Have a try to spell the following the words---cat, hat, dad. 让学生尝试拼读，说出The small “a” sounds a short / ? /, / ? /,/ ? /.

设计意图：采用直观教学法，通过让学生感知、体验，自己总结出元音字母a在单词中的short / ? /的发音规律。在教授音标的时候，采用TPR和编唱歌谣教学法，有利于激发学生的兴趣，帮助学生记忆。
Step3. Presentation
教“a-e” the double vowel / ei /的发音
画出一幅五个短元音a,e,i,o,u字母图引出face词，说 I like my face. And I like your face too. Hello, may I know your name? What’s your name? ---My name’s ___. Nice to meet you.---Nice to meet you, too.
