5.教学过程设计Step 1:warm-up

a. A free talk between teacher and pupils.

b. Listen and sing a song together.

Design intent:At the beginning of class, I used a song to attract the attention of pupils and recall their affection.

Step 2:Presentation

Show some pictures to introduce Liuxing’s family to review old words :father.mother.brother.sister.grandpa.grandma.tall.short.fat.thin.clever.kind.pretty.beautiful. At the same time, I teach new words: parents.baby brother.uncle.aunt.counsin.

Teach the text. First, pupils listen. then try to answer questions about the text. then, they try to repeat the text one sentence by sentence. While explaining some key words.

With playing video, a gilrl Jiajia introduce us her family, Teacher tell pupils the meanings and usages of new sentence patterns.

Design intent:Through watching the video, pupils can understand the pattern deeply and explicitly. It is easer for them to use these structures in right situations.

Step 5: Consolidation

1. Activity:

Introduce their family to their partners with their drawing family photos. Then invite some individuals to talk about it.

2. Sing a family song.

First, teach pupils to sing an adapted song related to the new sentence patterns, And then encourage pupils to make their own songs.
