1、导入新课：

2、Play game: 吹气球比赛?
请两名学生上台吹气球，教师发指令“Make it big”.这两名同学一边吹气球，其他同学随他们吹的节奏加油：Bigger ! Bigger！ Bigger ！看谁在指定的时间内吹得大，谁就获胜。板书：bigger。
T:? Can you make it smaller ?
?学生然后拿着吹大的气球，慢慢地放出空气，其他同学喊“ Smaller ! Smaller ! Smaller ! ”板书：smaller.
3、操练单词bigger 和 smaller。
?? （看大屏幕）(出示一大一小两个苹果)说句子：The red apple is bigger than the green one. The green apple is smaller than the red one .
(看大屏幕)指名说：This orange is bigger than that one. That orange is smaller than this one .
4、师拿出卷尺，一边拉长一边说：Longer ! Longer! Longer!
慢慢放松卷尺，说：Shorter ! Shorter ! Shorter !板书：longer 和shorter?
（看大屏幕）（指名说句子：This ruler is longer than that one.? That ruler is shorter than this one.）
