五、教学步骤和建议

1. 热身(Warm-up)

(1)全班一起吟唱歌曲:What are you going to do?

(2)Show pictures of Jone and bookstore to review words:dictionary,word book,comic book and postcard and to elicit key sentence patterns.

2. 预习(Preview)

Let's try

教师展示人物图片介绍提问背景,预测What is Amy going to do? 强调句型:She/He is going to ……。根据图猜测答案放三遍Let's try 部分的录音,以上问题可根据学生的实际情况分三次提出,直到多数学生能回答.

3.新课呈现(Presentation)

Let's talk

(1)教师介绍挂图,提问What are they going to do?生猜。带问题看动画回答,追问What are they going to see?放课文的录音,学生静听后跟读回答where are they going? When are you going? 生填表格后T explain sentence by sentence,and show the knowledge of Half Price,students read by themselves and 分角色朗读。

(2)学生两人一组根据师提供信息点对对话中的各种信息进行替换,并请几组学生进行示范。

(3)看词造问句

(4)文本重构,师挖空核心句型和单词,生根据自己情况重新组织,加入更多自己的语言。

4.巩固和延伸(Consolidation and extension)

(1)学生两人一组相互采访,根据表格中提供的三个疑问句了解同伴当天下午活动安排,并简要记录信息。

(2)Let students sum up the key points.

5.Homework

Encourage students to interview their parents' or friends' weekend plan and finish the given table.
