(一) Warm -up

1. Little teacher help students to review: what does he/she do? Where does he/she work?

2.Let’s chant: What does your father do?

(师生一起) My father is a driver. di di di di di(拟声词)

What does your mother do?

My mother is a teacher. A B C D

What does your brother do?

My brother is a policeman. biang biang biang biang biang (拟声词)

What does your sister do?

My sister is a nurse. One two three puchi(打针状)

Greeting: Hello, boys and girls! How are you doing? Welcome to my class.Are you ready for the class?

(二)Pre-reading(Reading for pleasure)

过渡语: First,let’s enjoy a video. Last year I took some left-behind children to the real world camp to try their dream jobs.Tomorrow is a career Day.Do you want to go there tomorrow? Ok, Let’s get everything ready for it.

出示职业体验营报名表,进行安全教育,You should always ask your parent for permission when you go in for after-class activities.参加校外活动都要取得家长的同意,同时激发学生积极性,If you can answer my question correctly and quickly,you can get the form for your team.并进行分组。

报名表上需要填写理想职业为由,引入课题,As the old saying goes:”choose the job, love the job”. It’s very important to choose your dream job. So today we are going to learn how to choose your dream jobs and how to help others to choose dream jobs.

活动一:Let’s play a guessing game about jobs

学生都对老师感兴趣,我用自己为例She likes teaching children.She is good at English.She works at a school.What does she do?引出Ms Wu is an English teacher.顺便举例Ms Wu is an English teacher .Ms Wu is good at English. Your Chinese teacher Mr Meng is good at Chinese.Your Math teacher Ms Kang is good at Math. 讲解be good at。 以我自己为例给大家一个职业小贴士,If you like teaching children,and you are good at English, you can be an English teacher.引出Career tip.(like后面用动词ing形式在课件中用红色标出)

She likes using computers. She can type very fast.What does she do?引入secretary,并用升降调及自然拼音教读,为阅读扫除障碍。并用肢体语言讲授type very quickly,并让学生试着给出职业小贴士。If you can type fast, you can be a secretary.(主语是单数第三人陈后动词用单数第三人称形式在课件中用红色标出)

She likes science. She often does experiments. She works in a university. What does she do?引入scientist.让学生借助图片理解She often does experiments.(阅读策略Picture can help you read..用北京大学的图片讲授university)。

He likes sports. He is good at playing basketball. He teaches basketball. He works in a gym. What does he do? 引入coach,并让学生看图理解gym.告诉学生Pictures can help you read. 并让学生给出职业小提示If you like sports, you can be a coach.

借助图片让学生区分普通记者和体育记者的区别,The sports reporter reports sports.并让学生给出职业小贴士If you like sports, you can be a sports reporter .

给出coach和sports reporter 的图片,让学生运用If you like...,you can be a or .

过渡语:Wa~you are so clever.You have known so many jobs. Look!Our friends (Hubin,Sarah,Robin)also want to go to the camp with us tomorrow?

(三)While-reading(Reading for information)

活动一【lead-in】:(1)出示Hubin,Sarah,Robin图片告诉学生让学生看图预测,Look and guess,What do they like? What do they want to be?(阅读策略:Pictures can give you some information. )学生借助图片发挥想象力用英语畅所欲言自由表达想法。

(2)学生进行印证活动,印证自己的猜想,ask students to read the text loudly and freely, then choose the tip for each of them.同时把课文进行改编,把Hubin,Sarah,Robin文本后的职业建议挖掉做成教具,( 朗读在小学阶段的学习非常重要,通过大声朗读,小学生可以更快接受所学语言并转化成自己的知识。)

Read the text silently again and do the exercises on your books.(Read silently can help you understand the text better ).

Ask students to check the answer with partner, and don’t forget to help each other.(让学生自主学习之后在自评互评互相帮助,培养合作学习习惯。)
