Step 1 Warm-up

1. Play a video about a hotel and talk about it with the students.

1. Watch the video about a hotel and make some comments on it.

以五星级酒店的视频直接导入Hotel的话题,从美好的视觉角度引到学生轻松且自然地进入Comments的主题。

Step 2 Presentation/ Practice

1. Show a picture about Wu Yifan’s family and say “Last weekend, Wu Yifan took a trip with his family and stayed at the Holiday Hotel.”

2.Show the pictures about the Holiday Hotel and lead the students to get some information from the pictures.

3. Present the whole text and ask students to skim and answer “How was the Wu family’s stay at the Holiday Hotel?” “How do you know that?”

4. Show the comments card.

5. Have the students scan and find the sentences that describe Pictures 1-3.

6. Show the pictures, have the students read the pictures one by one, and help them solve the difficult points.
