Step 2 Free talk abilities

T: The students in the movie can do many different things. Are they great?

S: Yes.

I think you are great too. Now think about your own ability. Let’s talk our own ability in groups

Group work:

1. Ask each other: What can you do?

2. Tell us your abilities like this:

In our group, different students have different abilities. Tom can swim. Jack can make model planes. Helen can dance. And I can play football. We enjoy our hobbies very much.

Speak up: Can you play the violin?

Presentation

1. Present new words with pictures.

T: From the report, we know Suzy can play the piano. Who do you think plays the piano best in China?

S: Lang Lang.

T: Lang Lang started to play the piano at the age of 3. And I think Lv Siqing plays the violin best in China. His father taught him to play the violin when he was four years old.
