Show Ss a video about a girl’s outdoor activities. Ask the students to say the outdoor activities

设计意图:通过学生的一组户外活动的视频自然引出本课话题。

Step 2 Check the preview .

Step 3 Presentation

1.Play a guessing game

设计意图:让学生能增加一些有关这些户外活动的信息,为以后的讨论作一下铺垫。同时调节一下课堂气氛,激发学生的参与欲望。

2.Talk about more outdoor activities.

设计意图: 让学生了解更多的户外活动,增加信息量

3.Have an interview: Talk about outdoor activities students did before.

设计意图:通过这个环节,让学生用过去式谈谈以前参加过的户外活动,一为自然引出下文想要尝试新的户外活动的环节,二为引出本单元的语法继续学习过去式。

Step 4 Practice

1.Listen to the tape and find out Amy’s and Daniel’s favourite outdoor activities. and the reasons.

2.Repeat after the tape and act out the dialogue .

3.Make up new dialogues.

设计意图:训练学生听说能力,让学生用所学知识,投入到实践运用中去。

1. Eddie and Hobo are doing an outdoor activity. Look at the picture, and tell me what it is.

2. Listen to the tape with questions

3. Ss read after the tape recorder.

4. Act out the dialogue . Ask Ss to try to use body language and gestures.

Outdoor activities can make us have good qualities .

设计意图:引导学生在做户外活动中要坚强,勇敢,自信 要重视团队合作,正好适时得进行情感教育,也为下一环节作下铺垫。
