Show the Ss some traffic signs and review them.

Ask (1) What does this sign mean? / What’s the meaning of this sign?

(2) What about this?

(3) Are there traffic lights?

(4) Is there a zebra crossing?

Step 2. Presentation

Here are some simple instructions, do you know the meanings?

(1)Cross the bridge and turn right.

(2)Take the second turning on the right.

(3)Cross the road at the traffic lights.

(4)Walk past the police station.

Read these sentences. Make sure they master them.

Check their answers.

Step 3. Practice

Show them 6 questions ,let Ss talk about them in groups. Then ask them to report.
