1. Different ways of learning about the world.
(1) T: Think about how you learn about the world during your growing up. Give examples and present the new words: whenever, through, as soon as, a great deal of.
(2) There are many ways for us to learn about the world. We can learn about the world from/through parents and relatives, books, teachers, travelling, TV and films , Internet and so on.
2. Part A
(1) Do a survey.
T: which is the most important way for you to learn about the survey? Let work in groups and do a survey. Each groups list three important ways and give reasons. At last report your answers to the class.
