Teaching?tools: Communicative teaching method, Task-based teaching method,Systemic reaction ,Phonetic teaching and Game method.

V. Teaching Tools: a tape recorder,cards of English words,pictures of fruits,the black board,the projector,the card speakers.

VI.Teaching procedure:

Step 1:Warming up

a.Listen to an English song “If you are happy” .(Let the students do the action while they are listening).

b.Say the slogan “good,better,best,we are the best”.(Let the students say the slogan faster and faster,louder and louder for three times,at the third speaking,make the students sit down quickly according to the teacher’s gesture.)

Step 2:Revision

Show the student some pictures of different kinds of fruits and ask them questions to review the colors and sentence patterns they have learned.

T: What’s this in English?

S: It’s a banana.

T:What color is it?

S:It’s yellow.

(The teacher uses the same way to ask the students the other kinds of fruits.)

T:Well, if you want to come to my home to eat some fruits ,you can call me at 139****4720. Let’s say my telephone number together.

S: One,three,nine,zero,four, two,nine,four,seven,two,zero.

(The teacher help the students to revise numbers in this way.)

Step 3:Leading in and Presentation.

T:I like fruits and I like shopping,so I have many nice clothes and things. I will show you them all now. But do you know how to say these things in English? Today we’re going to learn them . Now let’s look at the black board.

In this part, I mainly use Systemic reaction ,Phonetic teaching and Game method to teach the students these new key vocabularies in this lesson.As we know, the main teaching aims of learning English in the Middle School is to cultivate students’ ability of listening,speaking, reading ,writing and their good sense of the English language. I teach them English words with Phonetic teaching. I also use different kinds of games to arouse students’ interest according to the rule of students’ growing mind.

Step 4?Listening?

(1)Listen?to?the?conversation?and?match?the?words?with?the?pictures.?

(This?activity?provides?practice?in?listening?for?vocabularies?about?clothes.?They?are?going?to?

listen?the?materials?and?review?the?words?we?learn?again.?)

(2)?Listen?and?circle?the?things?in?the?picture?you?hear.??

Step5 Presentation

Show students the target language on the black board,teach them the basic grammar rules and make them read after the teacher. It is the basic for the students to make conversation and communicate with the target language by themselves in the learning of the next step.

Step 6 Pair work
