Teaching Procedures:

Step 1 Lead in

Purpose: To arouse students’ interest in learning about saving the endangered animals.

Show students a vedio. Through this vedio, students will know the basic information of extinct animals. And then present some pictures of the endangered animals to make sure that the stuaents grasp them by naming them out. Gradually, lead to the content of reading.

Step 2 Pre-reading

Ask students to think about this question “Why is the number of rare animals becoming less and less?” After students give their opinions, they will be asked to predict what happened to the antelope, and guess the reason why the Tibetan antelopes become endangered.
