Teaching process：
Leading in: Show 4 pictures related to the story, and ask Ss to put them in a right order。
Fast Reading: Ask Ss to read the story fast and check if the order is right.
Detailed Reading:
Task1 Individual reading: ask Ss to read the story carefully and finish the mind map. Be sure to focus on the
six elements of the story.
Task2 Group discussion: ask Ss to share the answers with group members.
Post Reading:
Question1: how was the problem solved? (引导学生回答出kindness和technology, 让学生从情感上认识到这两者都对社会的发展和文明的进步起到了至关重要的作用)
Question2: What does the writer want to show us by telling the story?(通过一个小视频让学生理解到作者用了一种很有趣的方式向人们展示在偏僻的地区手机的重要性。)
Groupwork:
Ask Ss to give a different and unexpected ending of the story.
