Step I: Greeting and revision

First revise some sentence pattern.

Step II:Lead in

Give students some pictures and let them describe the person with a attributive clause. to show what is Attributive clause,and how to use it in our daily life.

E.g. She is a girl who has long hair.

This is a boy who/whom everyone likes.

It is a book which/that I bought yesterday.

Xingyi is the place where I was born.

June 5th is the day when Iwas born.

Step III:Explain the usage of relative pronouns and ask students to make sentences.

By combining sentences to discover the usage of relative pronouns (who,whom,that, which,whose)

By making sentences using people and things around us to enhance students’ proficiency and accuracy in using the attributive clause.

Purpose: Enable the students to acquire the usage of relative pronouns and cultivate their confidence.

Step IV:Conclusion

How to use that and which and let students know the difference between them.

How to use the preposition in the attributive clauses.

How to use whose.

How to use as.
