2.归纳文中关于描述主人公生平事迹和品质的事实性信息;

3.通过阅读圈活动,基于自主学习和合作学习,进一步梳理和整合所读的文本信息;

4.基于所读文本和相关材料,讨论应如何面对生活中的困难,发表个人观点。

学习准备:学生课前自学了新单词;将学生分成12组(每组4~5人)

教学重点

学生通过阅读,获取关于Christopher Reeve经历和品质的事实性信息,整合推断出主人公的处事态度和为人品质。

教学难点

通过自主学习和合作学习,梳理和整合文本中的词汇及给我们带来的启示;整合文本,对文本信息进行深入挖掘。

T invites Ss to work in groups to raise questions about what information they want to get from the passage and writes them down on the given sheet by giving an example: What accident did Christopher suffer from? (GW)

Ss share their questions and T writes them on the blackboard.
