procedureStep 1 Leading in

Show a gift and a greeting card from the teacher’s son.

设计意图:通过教师收到母亲节礼物和问候卡导入,吸引学生注意力。

Step 2 Reading for structure

设计意图:通过介绍问候卡的格式,让学生对如何写问候卡有大体的了解,即三部分组成:称呼、正文、署名。

Step 3 Reading for information

Activity 1: Doing the exercise 1 on page 2 and fill in the names.

Read the information below and write the correct person’s name on each card on page 1.

Bill is going to America.

Mary is in hospital.

Britta cleaned her friend’s house when her friend was sick.

John has just started work.

Karen starts her final exams tomorrow.

Simon is working in another city for four weeks.

设计意图:通过让学生完成练习1,找到相关的称呼名字,并填空到相应的位置来培养学生的阅读能力,不同的问候卡内容所写的称呼对象有所不同,通过找称呼,让学生熟悉问候卡的开头格式。

Activity 2: Doing the exercise 2 on page 2 and match the name.

设计意图:通过让学生完成练习2,找到问候卡的写卡人和收卡人的关系,培养学生的阅读能力,熟悉问候卡的结尾格式,即署名。
