三、教学过程
Ⅰ. Lead in
利用人物图片导入形容人的形容词，从而引出本课句型：What does he look like?
Ⅱ.Warming-up and revision
利用多媒体图片展示，一个胖而高大的人（a fat and tall man），一个瘦而较矮的人（a thin and short man），一个中等身材的人（of medium height man）。
然后用图片教heavy, tall, thin, short引出句型：
1. What does he look like? He’s really tall. He has long straight hair.
2. What does she look like? She’s of medium/build.
3. 引导学生熟悉有关描述人的外貌特征的词
(1). 用图片人物教有关height，curly等单词。然后操练“What does he look like? He is really tall.” 注意be 动词的用法。
(2) pictures 来教有关头发的词汇,。然后操练“What does he look like? He has long straight hair.” 注意has的用法。
（3）讲述后练习：（小试身手）形容班级的一位同学。
