二、教学重难点

1. 教学重点:1)prefer, dance to, sing along with的用法。

2)句型: I like music that I can dance to.

2. 教学难点:学习关系代词that/which引导的定语从句。

三、教学过程

Step 1. Lead in

1. Lead students to listen to a piece of music. Lead to the new structure: “ I like music that is relaxing.”

2.Talk about music.

Let students learn as many kinds of music as they can.

Step 2. Presentation

1·此环节通过欣赏四首不同风格的歌曲,引出这一课时的重点词汇:

classical music ,quiet and relaxing ,dance to . sing along with ,prefer和句型。

2.Show the sentences on the screen. Let students read and summarize how to use attributive clauses. The teacher explains it in details.

3.?Ask?and?answer:What?kind?of?music?do?you?like?I?like?music?that?...?How?/What?about?you?I?prefer?music?that?/which?...

Step 3. Play a guessing game

Show the picture in 1a on the screen and let students guess what kind of music they like one by one.

Step 4.Listening

Play the tape then check the answers .

Let students have a fast speaking.

Step 5. Presentation

1. Show some movie posters on the screen and lead them to discuss what kinds of movies they like. Encourage them to use the attributive clauses. The teacher explains the use of attributive clause later.

2. Show more pictures and lead students to talk about things they like.

Step 6. Do a survey

1. Group work .Ask students: What kind of music/movies/animals do you like?Then fill in the form. 3. Invite some student to report their results of the whole class of their group.

Step 7. Summary

1. Summarize the new words and phrases.

2. Sum up the use of attributive clauses.
