Step 1. Warming up
1. Greeting.
2. Enjoy and sing a song ：Happy Mother’s Day!
3.Free talk. T: Which festival is talking about in this song? S: Mother’s Day.揭示课题：Mother’s Day.全班读课题Unit4 Mother’s Day PartA
4.Revision. Chant together.并让学生通过观察总结出I’ll的用法。
Make, make, make the bed,
I’ll make the bed.
Clean, clean, clean the room,
I’ll clean the room.
Wash, wash, wash the clothes,
I’ll wash the clothes.
Step 2.Presentation
1.学习新单词love。教师出示妈妈的照片向学生介绍自己的家人，由此引出新单词love ，让学生也大声向自己的妈妈表达爱意：Mom, I love you!
2.学习新单词kiss。教师向学生说“ Mother’s Day is coming. I’ll give my mother a big kiss.”教学新单词kiss.询问学生“ Will you give your mother a kiss? ”引导学生回答“I’ll give my mother a kiss.”进行新单词kiss 的操练。
3.Chant together.操练新单词love和 kiss。
Love, love, I love my mother.
Kiss, kiss, I’ll give her a big kiss.
Love, love, I love my father.
Kiss, kiss, I’ll give him a big kiss.
4.学习新单词surprise和kind。教师告诉学“I’ll give my mother a surprise.”引出新单词surprise。先让学生用动作来表演surprise的表情，再让学生猜What kind of surprise?引出新单词kind，操练surprise和kind。
Step 3.Practice
1.Free talk. What kind of surprise? 学生自由猜教师将送给妈妈什么样的惊喜。引导学生用上You’ll…说话。教师在白板贴出学生猜对的相对应的短语，如 give her some flowers, make a card for her等。
2.教师向学生出示自己要给妈妈的惊喜，看看学生们都猜对了没有，没猜对的通过出示图片引导学生说一说。在这一环节引导学生用I’ll…来说法，让学生懂得will的用法。例如.I’ll make a card for her. I’ll give her a card. I’ll give her some flowers. I’ll take a photo for her.
