Step1: Greetings and lead in

T: As we chant, spring is coming. Do you know what’s the date today?

S1: It’s April 15th.

T: Great. How about tomorrow? What’s the date tomorrow?

S2: It’s April 16th.

T: Yes. And April is going to end. May is coming. There is a festival in May, do you know what is it?

S3: Mother’s Day.

T: Wonderful. Here are some pictures about Mother’s Day. Let’s enjoy it together.

Step2: New lesson

T: Do you love your mom?

Does your mom love you? How do you know?(可用中文说)

There are three children talking about the Mother’s Day.

First, let’s listen and find out when is Mother’s Day, OK?

T: Mother’s Day is coming. Children love their mom. They will do something for their mom. Now let’s listen again and see what will they do for their mother. Listen and match.

A: Let’s give her a surprise.

B: I’ll give her a card and say, “Happy Mother’s Day!”

C: I’ll give her a big kiss and say, “I love you!”

T: Children have different ideas to show their love to mom.

What will Ben give for his mom?

S1: A card.

T: Yes. Ben says, “ I’ ll give her a card.”

I’ll is short for “I will”, means you are going to do something.

T: How about Kate?

S2: A big kiss.
