一、Teaching material Analysis and Students Analysis

1.Teaching material analysis

This lesson is Jieli Publishing House Primary School English in the Second Term of Grade3,“lesson10 Tom can swim.”,first class.

Section one“Look, listen and say” present the new knowledge by six pictures. Students can listen, speak, read, write words: swim,sing,cook,speak,English.

Student can use the main sentences“Can……? Who can……? ”in group、game,、and real situations to ask and answer about someone can do something.

Section two “Look and do”consolidate what the students have learn,they can

talk about someone can do something.

Students analysis

The students are in grade3,they have learn English two years.They have certain skills on listen,speak,read and write.They are active and like performance.To stimulate their interest in learning English,we should encourage and praise them when they do a good job.

二.Teaching Objectives

1. Knowledge objective

(1)Students can listen, speak, read, write words:swim,sing,cook,speak,English.

(2)Students can listen, speak, read the main sentences“Can……? Who can……”,and can ask and answer about someone can do something.

2. Ability objective

(1)Students can imitate the tape correctly.

(2)Student can use the main sentence “Can……? Who can……?” in group、game,、and real situations to ask and answer about someone can do something.
