教学方法

本节课主要运用合作学习法进行教学,学生通过参加Pair work和group work活动,给学生练习语言并互相学习的条件和机会。

七、教学过程

Step1. Warming up and lead in

Greetings:

T:Good morning boys and girls.

Ss:Good morning Miss Huo.

T:Today we are going to learn a new lesson.Lesson 10 Tom can swim.First,Let’s chant.

b.Chant

Apple,apple.I can draw an apple.

Bird,bird.I can draw a bird.

Dog,dog.I can draw a dog.

c.Warming up

T shows some pictures of a bird,a dog and a cat and says “A bird/dog/cat can ____.”Ss fill up the blanks and say it out loud.

Step2.Presentation

a.T shows a picture of a fish and asks “Do you know what can a fish do?A fish can...”(Ss listen to the tape and follow it “swim,swim”.)

T teaches new word.(Ss read it 3 times and read it group by group.Then Ss read the sentence “A fish can swim.”(3 times)

T:Look at the picture.Who is he?

Ss:He is Tom.

T:Tom can____.
