Step 1 . Warming-up Exercises

Greeting .

Introduce English names each other.

(通过师生互动、问候,活跃课堂教学的氛围,拉近师生的距离,并且使学生尽快的进入英语的语境氛围。通过互相介绍英文名字为下一步介绍人物做好铺垫。)

Step 2 . Presentation and Practice

1.Look at my son’s photo ----- Introduce my son

(1)What’s his English name?

(2) Where is he from?

(3) How old is he?

(4) He is a young boy. He is very very young.

(通过对孩子的介绍,直观的引出young,并理解其含义)

(5) He can do many things. (run, jump...) He is clever.(再介绍son的基本情况,学习clever.)

(6) Introduce son’s friend. A beautiful girl.

(多用形容词来介绍儿子的朋友,初步感知本课生词。)

2.Ask and answer some questions

(通过对son 和 friend 的回忆,练习今天的重点句子。通过对比,进而引出old, tall, thin, beautiful等形容词,为下一步练习奠定基础。通过old 和 young的对比,加深对含义的理解。)

3.Ask and answer

S2: Yes, she is.

S4: Yes/No,...
