1. Warm-up

(1).Greetings!

Hello, boys and girls! How are you? Nice to meet you!

(2).Sing a song: old Macdonald had a farm.

2. Presentation

(1).Setting the situation: Miss Lin and her pupils are visiting a farm and let’s go with them. 1, 2, 3 go! What can you see?

(2)Words &sentence pattern teaching: The?teacher?shows?a?picture?of?“a pig”?on?screen?and?then?asks “What’s?this?”?

S1, 2, 3…: “It’s a pig.”

The?teacher?shows?three?pigs?on?screen?and?asks: “What?are?they?”

Lead?to?the?sentence?pattern:

“What?are?they?”

“They?are...”

(3). Ask?students?to?practice?the?conversation?in?pairs.

(4).The?same?way?to?learn?“cows,?ducks”

(5).Pay?attention?to?the?word?“sheep”

?“One?sheep--some?sheep”

(6).Show?three?geese?on?screen?and?ask:”What?are?they?”

? Pay?attention?to?“goose---geese”

(7).Invite several students come to the blackboard and point the pictures to quick ask: “What are they? They are…”

(8).Ask several students show the back of animal pictures and guess “What are they? They are…”

(9).The?teacher?shows?the?pictures.?Try to finish the conversation with students and then play?the?recording.

3. Drill
