Step 2 Presentation and Practice

Show the picture of duck use ppt. Practice the word of duck and through counting the duck to learn its plural form “ducks”.

Target Grammars: so many + 可数名词

Eg. So many students. So many teachers.

so much + 不可数名词

Eg. So much money.

Show the picture of goose use ppt. Through gestures to learn the plural form of goose.

Compare the difference between duck and goose by pictures.

Show the picture of geese and make ask and answer.

Target Sentences: T: Look there! They are ducks.

S: NO. They are not ducks.

T: What are they ?

S: They are geese.

Listen to the sound of the sheep and ask the students “what did you hear?”to introduce the sheep. Then make a small game of “paper scissors stone”to practice the word.

Guessing the word by teacher’s describe of cows to lead to the word. By “Touch and say”to practice the word. By“Ask an Answer”to practice the targer sentences.

S1: What are they?

S2: They are cows.

Step 3 Consolidation and Summary

Teacher and students are suppose to review what we learnt in this class together by asking and answer.

Students are suppose to make a conversation using the target sentences in group.
