T: Firstly, let’s sing the song Old Macdonald had a farm together. Then find out what can you see on the farm? Ok?

Ss: Yes…

( Show the video Old Macdonald Had a Farm and answer the question.)

Step two:Presentation

1. ( Show the farm picture)

T: Welcome to my farm. Look there, everybody! What is it? How many ducks? Let’s count together! One, two, three ducks…

Ss: Four ducks.

(Show the word “ducks” and read one by one.)

T: Let’s imitate ducks. Choose some students to perform. What are they?

Ss: They are ducks.

(Do some practice of the sentences. Pigs, sheep, cows and geese are taught in the same way.)

Step three:Practice

1. Introduce the animals for students.

2. Guess the words quickly.

3. Game time.

4. Listen to the dialogue and answer the question.

Read and act the dialogue.

Step four:Consolidation and extension

Do some exercises.

Sing the Animal song together.
