【教学过程】：
Step 1 greeting and revising
The teacher and the pupils greet each other.
Revise the contents learnt in the last class. Show pictures about animals, ask and answer like this: What is this? It’s a lion/tiger/monkey… It’s an elephant.
What are they? They’re monkeys/elephants/pandas.
Pandas are fat.
Step 2 presentation
1. When revising “Pandas are fat.” , Say Monkeys are …(thin)
Teach the word “thin ‘and other words: such as: tall short small big
2. Practice the words by talking about the students in class.
She/He is tall/short/fat/thin/big/small..
They are tall/short/fat/thin/big /fat.
Show pictures in CAI and practice the words and sentences
Yao Ming is tall and big. Pan changjiang is short and small.
That man is fat. That girl is thin.
Play the tape for Activity 1 and 2,let the students listen and say
Step3 practice
1. Let the students look and say, then write down the sentences.
2.Plactice again by playing the game in Activity5
Step 4 Learn the song
Get the students know about the lyric, and read the lyric.. Then learn to sing the song .
