Step1 Warm up

(1)Greetings: Hello, boys and girls. How are you?

(2)Do it together :Now Let’s say the chant in Unit 1 Activity !.

(3)Ask and answer:

T: Look at the picture :What are they?/What’ this?

Ss: They are … / It’s …

Step1 Leading in:

Take out some pictures about animals. For example :This is a

Monkey. It’s fat. That is a monkey. It’s thin. This is an elephant. It’s tall.

That is an elephant. It’s short. This is a panda. It’s big .That’s a panda.

It’s small. This class we are going to learn six new words.

Step 3 Presentation:

1 Read and spell the words :fat thin Then write on your book.

2 Play a game :大小声游戏.

3 Read spell and write the words :tall short

4 Play a game :吹气球游戏。

5 Spell read and write the words about “big small.

6 Play a game “埋地雷游戏

Step 4 Practices :

1 让学生认读单词卡片，师先领读学生在读：

2 分小组朗读单词：

3 全班分为四小组，比赛读，开火车度：

4 课件出示两个人图片，或找两名同学，老师先示范介绍两个人的特征，让学生认真听，并模仿说。Look .This man is tall .That man is short .?并板书重点句式。

5 Let students listen to the tape follow the tape and then make groups read the chart.
