教学过程

Step1. Warming-up.

Greetings.

Let’s chant: Activity1 of Unit1.

Guessing game: listen to the sounds of some animals and guess: What’s this? Students use “It’s a/an .... ”to answer.

Step2. Lead-in

Show some pictures to review the sentence patterns:

What are they? They’re...

Task presentation: Students have brought the pictures in the zoo.

T: Do you know how to describe their features? Ss: No.

学过今天的课文,大家就知道该怎样描述了。

看了这么多有趣的小动物,同学们想不想看个表演呢?

Use the show to lead and lead words: tall, short

Step3.Presentation&Practice

Show cards of tall and short to let ss read. Ask little teachers to teach.

Ride a train to practice the words. Then lead ss to say:

This boy is tall. That boy is short.
