Step 1:Revision and lead-in.

Greet and divide the students into three teams.

Watch a cartoon about the clock.

Show the clocks and ask students the time.(Review the time)

Our friends Amy and Sam will go to the park tomorrow morning.

What time will they go? Let’s watch the cartoon.

(lead in the activity one)

5.One student answers the question and then repeat the activity one together.

Step 2 .Task presentation.

1. Show the pictures of four kinds of jobs which will appear in the text and introduce my father’s work time. Lead in the title and show the task of this class:

A. Consolidate the simple present tense.

B. Talk about your parents’ jobs and your parents’ work and rest time with partners.

Step 3. Text learning.

1.Daming and Fangfang are walking to school.What are they talking about? Watch the cartoon carefully.

2.Watch the cartoon again with these questions:

3.Ask the group leaders to take out the form and finish the form in groups.

4.Students answer the questions.

(teach the new words:evening,worker,factory,taxi,early,late)

5.Listen and imitate.(Ask students to pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation )

6.Read in role with partners.

7.Ask students to read in role.

Step 4.Practice

Choose one picture you like to describe.

Practice to describe the pictures.

For example: He is a policeman. He goes to work at 8 o’clock.

There are six numbers and every number is linked with a picture.The students can choose one to describe.
