Show a book on the screen and ask the students: “What’s this?” Then go on ask: Have you got any books? What kinds of books have you got?

Ⅱ. Words Learning

Show the pictures of different books and learn to say the phrases : books about science, books about art, books about animals, books about sports , dictionary...

Show a picture of a CD and learn it.

Show a picture of a dictionary and learn the pronunciation, then learn the plural form ‘dictionaries”. Then learn the word “heavy”.

Show a picture of a shelf and learn the word. Then learn to say Shelf A, Shelf B, Shelf C...

Make a summary of the new words. Review and consolidate all of them by doing different practice or some games.

Ⅲ. Sentence learning.

Learn the sentences"---Let’s put the books about science on shelf B. / Where are the books about science. / They are on shelf C./ They are in the wrong place.

1. Show some books of different kinds and then ask some children to the front. Ask them to put differnt kinds of books on different shelves with the pattern “Let’s put ...on...”. Then ask : Where are the books about animals? Where are the books about...?

2. Do more practice to consolidate the patterns.

Ⅳ. Text Learning.

1.Ask the children to read the words in the text and then to finish the target work. To answer the three questions: Where are the books about science?/ Where are the books about animals?/ Where are the books about sports? Then paly the vedio of the text and then help to answer the questions.

2. Watch the flash and then finish the target work. To fill the blanks. A friend ____these books to us. Let’s ______them on shelf B...

3. Follow the tape to read the text. Repeat the sentences and then check that if the children can talk about the places of the books with the learned sentence patterns.

Ⅴ. Practice

1. Ask some children to the front and ask them to find the different books. Then ask: --Where are the books about ...? --They are on shelf....

Ⅵ. Morally education

Ask the student to cassify the books.t.

Ⅶ.Setting homework.

Ask the students to make a home library with their own books.

Look at the pictures and learn to say the new words and phrases.

Look at the pictures and read them after the teacher .

Read and try to remember all of them.

Look and try to follow the teacher.
