1.Important points
学生理解并使用单词“library, idea, put, heavy, card, ask, wrong,”. 学生巩固用Let’s提出建议。能理解并运用句子“Where are the books about… They’re on Shelf …”来查找图书。

学生能理解并使用句子“These are all books about science. Let’s put them on this shelf”.与小组成员积极交流，为建立班级图书馆提建议。能理解并运用句子“Where are the books about… They’re on Shelf …”来查找图书。
三、Students analysis 学情分析
新标准英语五年级下册Module 4 Unit1 Let’s make a home library. 课文情境是Ms Smart建议Amy和Lingling利用她朋友寄来的书和CD设立一个家庭图书馆。她们将书分类摆放并邀请朋友来借书，却发现书本位置和书架编号对不上。本课要学习的重点是利用“Let’s”提出建议以及初步了解图书摆放及查找。
本课的教学对象是五年级学生，这个年龄段的孩子爱思考，对外界的事物充满好奇。他们对Let’s的句型并不陌生。因此在本课的教学过程中，我从文本出发，利用层层递进的问题引发学生思考，将学习方法渗透在教学过程中，进一步拓宽学生的学习方式，引导学生在学习文本的基础上发展其思维品质。五年级学生已经基本形成用英语谈论日常生活中他们所熟悉的主题的能力。并且学生能借助文中插图理解文章大意。学生也能书写简单的句子。他们的学习兴趣浓厚，并愿意参与课堂活动。学生已经学习过本课的Let’s句型，所以他们能比较容易掌握。教师应注重分层教学，并给基础薄弱的同学更多巩固和运用的机会。
