学情分析

本课所面向的是已经有较好英语基础的小学六年级学生,他们有着非常浓厚

的英语学习兴趣,学习积极主动、乐于参与,他们思维活跃,精力充沛,善于模仿,表现欲强,具有强烈的好奇心和求知欲。之前,他们已积累了五年多的英语学习经验,已初步具备了一定的英语听、说、读、写的能力,对旅行话题也比较熟悉,而且在前一单元已经学习了want to句型,同时孩子们从五年级第一学期就参加了区级课题“小学高年级中英语学科培养学生小组合作学习能力策略的研究”的实践与实验,通过课内外的指导训练,学生已掌握了一定的“预习”即“先学”的方法,具有一定的“自主学习”的能力、拥有良好的“小组合作学习”精神,大部分学生正享受着“自主学习”“合作学习”带来的乐趣和成就感。

教学准备:导学提纲, word cards,PPT, 微课视频。

教学过程

Step1:Warming up

Greetings.

Say a chant about “China” adapt from the chant about “America” of U2, M1.

Present the big map of China.

T: Look! What a big map of China! There are lots of beautiful places.

Present the beautiful pictures of “Shanghai, Xinjiang, Hainan, Mongol”.

Step2: Lead-in and present the task

Guessing game: Where do I want to go?

Read the information silently and use “Do you want to go to ... ?” to guess where does Ms Chen want to go? Then present the beautiful pictures of “the Great Wall, the Changjiang River, the Huangshan Moutain, the West Lake, Shanghai”.

Present the title.

Pairwork: --Do you want to go to ...? --Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.

Look and say “I want to go to ....”

Present the task: Talk about our travelling plan and find partners.

Step 3: text- teaching--Know about the Smart Family’s travelling plan

Listen and tick(√)--Where do they want to go?

Read and match--Why do they want to go?
