1、重点：能口头运用The birds are singing in the trees.说明图片内容。能识别单词shine, everyone,并能书写sun,sing。

Step 1 Warm up

T：Good morning everyone! Before our class, let’s learn a chant!

Walking ,walking, walking, I am walking.

Running ,running, running, I am running.

Jumping ,jumping, jumping, I am jumping.

教师出示幻灯片，边说边做动作，学生第一遍看，接下来与教师一起做，然将学生分成两组PK。

Step 2 The text presents and import

T: (教师快速画出一幅简笔画：太阳)

T: What is this? Ss: It’s the sun.

T:So what’s the weather like ? Ss: It’s sunny.

T:Yes. It’s sunny. The sun is shining now!

教师重复“It’s sunny. The sun is shining now!”学生尝试理解。

T: Very good! Today let’s learn “Module3 Unit1 The sun is shining.”教师板书课题并领读“The sun is shining”重点领读 shining

T:Good ,let’s play a game: I do you guess.

教师做“走路、跑、游泳、读书、踢足球、打篮球……”等动作，学生猜并用英语回答，教师适时鼓励。目的是让学生回忆之前的动词短语，并一直渗入现在进行时。教师适时板书英语句子。

2.教师出示幻灯片（课文中插图一副）

T:I wil give you five seconds to remember this picture,are you ready?Ss:…..

T:OK,time is up!Now finish the blank!

The sun is______.

The birds are _____ in the tree.

We are _____ at some ducks.

学生完成填空。教师让学生观察这些句子并找出规律。师生一起总结归纳，用“is / am / are / + ing”的结构，表示正在发生的事情。
