教学过程：
Step 1. Warm up
1. Greeting.
2. Sing a song < Ten little fingers>
(设计意图：边唱边做动作，活跃了课堂气氛，而且激发了学生们的学习兴趣。)
3. Have a free talk.
When are we going to eat?
What are you going to do today?
What do you want to eat?
Ask and answer one by one .
(设计意图：在自由对话中，学生们可以对学过的知识进行复习，同时也训练了学生的口语表达能力。)
4.Revision
复习现在进行时的构成，以及部分动词的现在分词，让学生掌握现在分词的变化规则。
Step 2 Presentation
1.课件出示图片，学习单词shine(照耀，发光)，让学生造句子“太阳正在发光。”The sun is shining . (板书课题)
2.根据图片学习 cry (哭)——crying
The baby is crying.
3.同样的方法学习fly away . The birds are flying away.
4. start——starting
It’s starting to rain.
Step 3 Practise
1. To learn the text.
Look at the pictures and talk about it .
2. Practice in pairs. Try to retell the text.
3. Answer the questions.
(1). What are the birds doing in Picture 1?
(2). What are the boys doing?
(3). What’s the weather like in Picture 2?
